The team from Belgrade ended their first three friendly matches in Cyprus with a perfect record, defeating Hloraka 3:2, Zalaegeršek 1:0, and Spartak Subotica 3:1. In the 16th minute, Zvezda took the lead with a goal from Šljivić, assisted by Lučić. This was Šljivić’s second goal in the preseason. In the 24th minute, Senegalese striker Endiaje doubled the lead with an impressive goal from a Radojević cross. The match ended with Zvezda playing with ten men after Stamenić was shown a red card in the 87th minute. The team’s next friendly will be against Bulgarian side Botev on February 1st. Before that, they had already achieved three victories in their preseason preparations.

Following the end of the winter break, the team gathered in Belgrade to begin their preseason training. They secured victories against Cypriot team Hloraka (3:2), Hungarian side ZTE (1:0), and Subotica’s Spartak (3:1) during their time in Cyprus. After the match against Mladost, Vladan Milojević’s team will also face Botev from Plovdiv.
