Novak Djokovic has achieved everything that can be won, broken numerous records in the world of tennis and sports in general. He has spent the longest period of time at the top of the ATP rankings, but that is not enough for some to include him in the list of the greatest athletes of all time. A popular Twitter account named “Fifa World cup stats” published a list of the top 10 greatest athletes of all time and, of course, outrageously left out Novak. On this occasion, tennis expert Vuk Brajović appeared on the morning program of Kurir television.
In short, I have no comment on this. This really surprises me considering how much the world of football has recognized and praised Novak for all his universal sports triumphs and successes. Nonsense. – Novak has won the Indian Wells Masters five times and it’s interesting that he last played in 2019.
Of course, we know he was eager to participate in the new Masters last year, but the American authorities did not allow it. We should expect a regenerated Novak, refreshed, whose physical problems are behind him, and hopefully motivated enough to fight to stay at the top and continue the season in the way we expected it to start, but unfortunately it didn’t. And the best tennis player in the world will face serious competition in this tournament: – Indian Wells is a tournament that Novak loves, where he has had a lot of success, and where he will face top-notch competition. The defending champion Alcaraz, finalist Medvedev, and semifinalist Sinner will be there.
