Real Madrid leaders do not want to buy out Kepa Arrizabalaga’s contract

Spanish media report that Real’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has sent Arizabalaga to the reserves’ bench, as he currently has more confidence in Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

This season, the Spaniard has played in 18 matches for Real across all competitions. Real’s management has already informed Arizabalaga and his agents that they do not plan to buy out the Spanish goalkeeper’s contract at the end of the season. He has a contract with Chelsea until June 30, 2025.
