Today, the inaugural session was held at the National Assembly, marking the beginning of the 14th convocation of the Serbian Parliament after the reinstatement of multiparty system. The session confirmed the mandates of all 250 members of the parliament, presided over by the oldest member, mathematician Stojan Radenović. This convocation also includes four of the youngest members, with the assistance of the General Secretary of the National Assembly.

The inaugural session followed its scheduling for today at 10 AM, where the mandates of new members were confirmed, the president and vice presidents were elected, the General Secretary was appointed, and members of the working bodies and permanent parliamentary delegations in international institutions were chosen. Professor Stojan Radenović, with assistance from the youngest member representing the four parties with the most mandates, and the General Secretary of the National Assembly, presided over the session. Political analyst Dejan Vuk Stanković appeared on the morning program of Kurir television to discuss this topic.
