The Denver Nuggets, led by the outstanding Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokić, defeated the Portland team with a score of 112:103 on their home court last night. Despite being the underdogs, they put up a tough fight against the current champions. They had a double-digit lead in the first half and remained competitive for three quarters.
However, in the final period, Jokić stepped up, rallied his team, and the Nuggets finally managed to break the resistance of their opponents.
