Jokić most effective in win over Portland

The Denver Nuggets, led by the outstanding Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokić, defeated the Portland team with a score of 112:103 on their home court last night. Despite being the underdogs, they put up a tough fight against the current champions. They had a double-digit lead in the first half and remained competitive for three quarters.

However, in the final period, Jokić stepped up, rallied his team, and the Nuggets finally managed to break the resistance of their opponents. Jokić had a 60% field goal percentage (12/20) and also made one three-pointer out of three attempts. Additionally, Watson scored 12 points, the same as Michael Porter and Aaron Gordon.

In the losing team, Deandre Ayton stood out with 27 points, while Anfernee Simons scored one point less.
