FK Crvena zvezda is set to earn €10,000,000 from the transfer and retain 15% of the next sale. Jovan Mijatović (18) will stay in America and play in the MLS league for the next six months. The U.S. does not have the same rules as Europe, so a player can switch to a third team during one season.

This means that depending on his performances, Jovan Mijatović could potentially join a team led by Pep Guardiola in the summer. He could either stay in America or move to Europe, joining one of the clubs owned by the City group. It’s worth noting that the holding company “City Football Group,” founded by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed in 2013, owns many clubs worldwide, including Manchester City in England, New York City FC in the U.S., Melbourne City FC in Australia, Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay, Girona FC in Spain, Mumbai City FC in India, Lommel SK in Belgium, Troyes AC in France, Palermo in Italy, and Bahia in Brazil.

Jovan Mijatović has scored several important goals in the Superliga and impressed in the UEFA Champions League matches, as well as in the Serbian youth national team, where he scored a sensational goal in a friendly match against Italy. Jovan Mijatović is expected to make his debut for New York City FC on February 22, when the MLS season begins. In the sky blue jersey, he could play against Charlotte.
