Novak Djokovic named Serbia’s top athlete in 2023

The Serbian Olympic Committee held its traditional award ceremony for the best athletes, coaches, and teams. Novak Djokovic was named the best Serbian athlete of 2023, marking his tenth time receiving the honor. The best male team was the 3×3 basketball national team. Angelina Topic was recognized as the most successful young female athlete.

The most successful athlete in team sports was Strahinja Stojacic, a representative in 3×3 basketball. Boris Simanic received a special award, the “Olympic heart – General Djukic” prize. With Ivana Spanovic, Goran Obradovic worked wonders in athletic competitions and was recognized as the best coach.
