However, it is less known that the club from the eponymous city has the longest name in the world when it comes to football. The club from the southwest of the Netherlands originally has a name with 83 letters.
It is exactly Nooit opgeven altijd doorgaan, Aangenaam door vermaak en nuttig door ontspanning, Combinatie Breda. The acronym NAC is derived from the initial letters of the sentences, which roughly translate to “Never give up, always advance pleasantly through entertainment, and be useful through relaxation, combined Breda.” Simple, isn’t it?
