The basketball team of Partizan will be hosting Žalgiris in the 23rd round of the EuroLeague. Since the arrival of their former coach Andrea Trinchieri, the Lithuanian team has been on the rise. Currently, they have a record of 8-14. While it is unlikely for them to reach the playoffs, they could pose a challenge for teams vying for the top 10 spots.
Partizan, currently standing at 11-11 and in 11th place, is also one of those teams. Known for their strong home performances, a victory in front of their 20,000 dedicated fans, known as the “grobari”, holds great value.
