Footballer stole player’s car and fled from police

An incredible story, like something out of a movie, comes to us from Italy, where the football club Sudtirol, a team from Serie B, found itself in a situation to dismiss a player. The young Italian, for some reason, decided to steal a vehicle belonging to one of his teammates with whom he shared the locker room.

When the police found him, he thought it was wise to refuse to surrender and try to escape. He drove through Bocen, a small town in the northern part of the country at a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour.

In the end, the chase, resembling a film scene, revealed that Mutasim did not have a driver’s license at all. Due to the whole situation, Sudtirol didn’t hesitate, and the footballer was immediately fired.

He now faces problems with the police and the law. However, according to data from the “Transfermarkt” website, specialized in transfers, just a day after being fired, the offensive footballer signed a contract with the German fifth-division team Villingen.

In addition to Italian citizenship, Mutasim also holds a Moroccan passport, he went through Freiburg’s youth academy, and joined Sudtirol’s youth team in July 2023. This season, he played in two matches for the first team and was mainly part of the youth team.
