“What’s happening with Partizan when it doesn’t have a president, and then it does again?”
1 min readThe black-and-whites went into the winter break as the leaders of the Serbian Super League, but the situation at Humska is not ideal. Popular Raća Petrović, who currently plays for Apoel and has won three titles and two Serbian Cup trophies with Partizan, commented on the current situation.
He expressed concern about the organization and financial situation of the club, stating that the results of Partizan in recent years have been problematic. Petrović highlighted the confusion in the club’s functioning, such as the lack of clarity on the club’s debt and the conflicting selection process for the club’s leadership. He warned that if these issues persist, they will be irresolvable.
Petrović also mentioned the previous period without winning the title, comparing it to a much larger and more competitive league. He expressed optimism inspired by Željko Obradović’s impact on the basketball club and hoped that this energy would extend to the football matches as well. He also expressed his desire for Obradović to remain with Partizan for a long time.
