Football team Girona secured a 1-0 victory against home team Celta in Vigo today, in the 22nd round of the Spanish league, returning to the top of the table. The only goal was scored by Portu in the 21st minute. With 17 wins, Girona holds the top spot with 55 points, one point ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, with an extra match played. Celta has been winless in their last three matches and, after suffering their second consecutive loss, they currently sit at 16th place in the league with a total of 17 points from 11 losses. The team from Vigo has two points more, but also one more match played, compared to Cadiz, who are currently in the relegation zone.
