Thoibaut Courtois recently demonstrated his luxury car passion by spending 400,000 euros on a Porsche 992 GT3 RS. This raised questions about why he paid more than the car’s market value of 250,000 euros. The car was customized to the buyer’s preferences, with Courtois opting for the “Sonderwunsch” package, which led to a two-year waiting period from payment to delivery.

This Porsche will join Courtois’ impressive car collection, which already includes vehicles like the Mercedes AMG G 63, Lamborghini Urus, and Ferrari Roma. The new addition will serve as some compensation for missing the remainder of the season due to a serious injury to his anterior cruciate ligaments. Consequently, he will not only be absent from playing for Real until the end of the season but also from the European Championship in Germany.
