Beretini withdraws from AO

Mateo Beretini, the Wimbledon 2021 finalist, was originally scheduled to face Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round. However, he withdrew from the tournament just before it began. He will be replaced by Zizou Bergs, a “lucky loser” from Belgium. Unfortunately, Beretini has faced significant injury issues in the past two seasons, causing him to drop to 125th place on the ATP rankings.
